Chainsaw Carvings
I was blessed to be born and raised into a very artistic family on the West Coast of British Columbia. I have always felt privilaged to share the rugged beauty of British Columbia with the diverse and majestic wildlife we have in our Province.
As a small boy I was fascinated by watching my father whittle and hand carve small sculptures. As a young man I entered into Silviculture and over time became quite skilled with a chainsaw saw. Enevitably I began to apply skills with a chainsaw to the wood sculpting that had captivated me since my childhood.
It is from the countless hours I have spent working outdoors in the Pacific Northwest and immersing myself in the natural surroundings that I draw my inspiration.
I recently relocated to Nanaimo on beautiful Vancouver Island.
